25 Jan 2024: Lead Service Category (LEADSERVICECLASSIFICATION) added to facilitate Lead Service Line Replacement Program. The types represent all combinations of service line material composition over line ownership (customer owned and utility owned).
31 Jan 2023: In 2022, GIS dept added three fields to wLateralLine for the purpose of tracking lead replacement efforts started the same year. Those fields are "Removed Lead" (REMOVEDLEAD), "Removed Lead Date" (REMOVEDLEADDATE), "Lead Comments" (LEADCOMMENTS).
"Removed Lead" is a true/false domain used to indicate that lead is completely removed from a service line. When lead material is found, "Removed Lead" is first made FALSE, and changed to TRUE when the service line is completely non-lead. From June 2021, the materials were filled by reviewing historic workorders. In the old 2022 workflow, If lead was discovered via the unknown lateral material inspection process, or if material was discovered from a workorder related to that service line, "Lead Comment" is used to indicate lead found and date. Prior to that, information was contained in the Bentley database. KN23 Feb 2023: 14 new fields added; C-B Found Lead, C-B Found Lead Date, C-B Lead Removed, C- B Lead Removed Date, C-B Found Source. M-C Found Lead, M-C Found Lead Date, M-C Lead Removed, M-C Lead Removed Date, M-C Found Source. The preceding ten fields are used to collect information related to LEAD SERVICE LINE INVENTORY and NOTIFICATION documentation for customers. Four fields related to customer documentation have been added; Filter (Was a filter provided to customers affected by lead service?), Filter Date (When the filter was provided?), Mixed Material Letter (Did the customer receive a mixed material letter?), Letter Date (When the letter was mailed?).

WorkFlow: At the time of writing, per GIS Supervisor, Lead Service Line questions with a "Yes/No" domain (C-B Found Lead? C-B Lead Removed? M-C Found Lead?, M-C Lead Removed?) should only use "Yes" or <Null>. Dates and Source information should be recorded following the "LSL Inspection Map (Collector)".
Prior to the addition of new fields, information pertaining to Lead Service Line Inspections is contained in the "Comments", "Lead Comments", or "Temp Text" fields.

",
